The woman behind the bar!

Growing up on Vancouver Island, Rebecca Vircoe started working in the hospitality and restaurant industry at the age of 13. After 10 years, she jumped into merchandising and interior design where she has spent the last five years eagerly learning about the world of renovations.

In the spring of 2020, while helping plan a friend's wedding Rebecca saw the need for a one-of-a-kind bar that would serve outdoor weddings. After a six week lockdown, a few glasses of wine and the encouragement of loved ones, the idea for Amble & Sip was born. 

While relatively new to the wedding and event scene, Rebecca is so excited to share with everyone her passion for beverages (alcoholic or not) and create some one of a kind experiences on Vancouver Island!

Rebecca is a proud fur mom to a three legged rescue cat named Marvin. He may not be graceful but he sure is cute.

Born in Nanaimo and raised in Qualicum Beach, Rebecca is a true island girl. She has spent the majority of her life living on the island.
